Through our “Make It A Great Day” Initiative, LBOD Foundation works with each of its families to build and implement a powerful morning routine tailored to each family to ensure a successful, predictable start to each day.
Building and implementing a powerful morning routine with our families not only helps in safeguarding our mothers’ recovery and preventing relapse, but also promotes teamwork and good communication between each of the family members.

Built For This focuses on the physical health and wellbeing of our families. With “Built For This”, LBOD Foundation works to help our families set and stay accountable to a fun, consistent workout schedule right in the comfort of their own homes. “Built For This” shows our families that physical health can be fun and integrated into their daily lives together. This initiative engages the entire family and helps to build discipline, foster good communication and togetherness by getting the family to work towards the common goal of physical health.
LBOD Foundation provides each of its families with basic beginner at home workout equipment and encouragement throughout every phase of the journey.

Beating The Odds is LBOD Foundation’s annual back-to-school initiative where we partner with local organizations to provide our families and their respective communities with book bags and school supplies. In addition to physical supplies, “Beating the Odds” provides our families with the opportunity to connect with others in their communities and be inspired to have a successful school year.

At LBOD Foundation, we understand that what an individual is capable of and what an individual knows of or is exposed to does not always align. LBOD Foundation’s “No More ‘Firsts’” Initiative seeks to bridge this exposure gap through our annual career fair done in partnership with local community organizations. The goal of our “No More ‘Firsts’” Initiative is to free our families of any self imposed limits they may have had previously about their futures by exposing them to career paths as wide ranging and diverse as they are.

Santa Claus Goes Straight To The Ghetto
Inspired by the James Brown soul classic, “Santa Claus Goes Straight To The Ghetto” is LBOD Foundation’s annual holiday initiative. LBOD Foundation serves families whose demographic unfortunately often places them in a cycle of poverty. For families who live in poverty, holidays can pose substantial financial difficulties. Through this initiative, LBOD Foundation ensures that each of our families enjoy their holiday season by providing a special holiday dinner, decorations for our families’ homes, and gifts for each family member.
